Each participating dance school/studio, or independent attendee/participant, will need to complete the following registration requirements:

1. Secure Your Enrollment

Submit your completed registration form and $100 deposit by February 15, 2027 to secure your dance school’s enrollment in the 2027 Cathedral Dance Festival.

Early Bird Registration

Dance schools wishing to take advantage of our Early Bird discount must complete the preliminary Early Bird registration form by November 15, 2026. This allows our team to gather the information needed to begin planning for the festival season.

After the Early Bird deadline, participating schools will receive a more comprehensive registration form with additional information and requirements. We will notify you when this form becomes available.

Participant Information

Each dance school/studio will serve as the primary point of contact for all festival-related information and communication.

Participants must be 7 years old as of January 1, 2027.

Each registered participant will receive one complimentary Festival Apparel item as part of their registration.

Please note that CDF will communicate directly with the registered dance school/studio rather than individual participants, unless a participant is attending independently and is not affiliated with a dance school.

CDF will not use participant contact information for record-keeping beyond festival registration, future communications, marketing, or advertising purposes.

Independent Participants

If you are an individual wishing to attend the 2027 Cathedral Dance Festival without a dance school affiliation, please reach out to our team directly for information on independent registration.

Submit Your $100 Registration Deposit

Please mail your $100 deposit to our main office to secure your registration.

2. Complete Your Adjudication Forms by February 15, 2027

Please complete an Adjudication Form for each day of adjudication by February 15, 2027.

Adjudication forms will be shared with you via Google Drive. Studios will have access to edit their forms until February 15, 2027.

Each Google Sheet will include a Friday tab and a Saturday tab located at the bottom of the sheet. Please provide complete information for each day of adjudication. If you have dances being adjudicated on both Friday and Saturday, you must complete both tabs.

Each individual dancer may perform in:

• Up to 2 dance entries on Friday — solos, duets, trios, and/or quartets.

• Up to 3 dance entries on Saturday — group numbers of 5 or more dancers.

Additional Friday dance entries are permitted for an additional fee of $10 per dance, per dancer, with a maximum of 5 Friday dance entries per dancer.

3. Submit Your $10 Per-Dancer Deposit by March 15, 2027

Please submit your second deposit of $10 per dancer attending the festival by March 15, 2027, to secure their admission.

Participants must be at least 7 years old as of January 1, 2027.

4. Submit Your Music by March 15, 2027

Please submit your music for each day of adjudication by March 15, 2027.

Music must be appropriate for all ages and may not contain suggestive lyrics, themes, or inappropriate language.

Personal Music Folder links will be sent to each school individually once registration closes. All music must be uploaded through your school's provided link no later than March 15, 2027.

We strongly recommend bringing a backup copy of all music on a flash drive in case of last-minute technological issues.

Please name each music file using the following format:

DANCE SCHOOL_Title of Dance_Division

5. Complete the Participant Waiver

Please forward the online Participant Waiver link to each registered dancer and ensure that it is completed before their first day of participation in the festival.

Each dancer must individually complete and submit their own waiver.
